Stoneham SERVPRO Water Mitigation Tools Help Salvage Homes

The Stoneham property in the Before Photo suffered heavy water damage. The kitchen doorway and ceiling, as well as the stairs, were saturated with water that had lingered long enough to leave deep brown stains on drywall. Many surfaces and items in the property were marked for removal or controlled demolition to return the property to a clean, safe state before rebuilding. Drying equipment can be seen operating in the kitchen, including at least four air movers and two low-grain refrigerant dehumidifiers.

The After Photo of this Stoneham home shows how much material needed to be extracted from the kitchen. Drywall, insulation, flooring, and most fixtures have been removed. Plumbing, lighting, and electrical wiring are visible through the exposed wall framing. The stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher are still in the kitchen and likely restorable.
