Buckled Floor from Storm

The sheets of water breached this entry door and flooded the living room of this Marblehead home. The baseboards and about 18 inches of drywall were demolished and discarded. The cupping and ruined floor planks were also tossed by our fast arriving technicians.  We dried out the concrete pad over a three day period to ensure that no excessive moisture was still lingering in the concrete. This would have wreaked havoc on the new flooring. We used heated air movers and dehumidifiers to vacate the air of humidity as we eliminated the moisture from the concrete pad. We measured the RH in the rooms with a thermal hygrometer to ensure that all was ready for the installation of the flooring.
